Welcome to MyChek! Our platform both web and mobile provides various tools and resources designed to help immigrants adjust to new lives in foreign countries. This includes, but is not limited to, checklists, guides, blog posts, and community forums intended to simplify the immigration process and cultural integration.

Welcome to MyChek. By accessing our website at [https://www.mychek.io/], or using our mobile application: MyChek, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all terms incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use our services.

Services Description Web

MyChek provides a range of content and tools intended to assist immigrants with their transition to new environments, which include checklists, guides, blog posts, and community forums (collectively, “Services”). These Services are designed to help users understand and navigate the immigration process, cultural adaptation, and related challenges.

Eligibility

MyChek is an immigration assistant application that hosts premade checklists prepared by experts. The App offers various features, including:

Subscription Plans: MyChek Plus subscription plans available annually, six-monthly, or monthly.
Checklist Allocations: Free users receive 5 checklist allocations upon registration and an additional 5 allocations for each new user they refer.
Custom Checklists: Users can create custom checklists that are stored locally on their devices.
AI Assistant: MyChek Plus users have access to an AI Assistant using Google's Gemini Large Language Model to help create checklists. AI dialogs are not stored.
Notifications: The App may send notifications for checklist reminders, marketing communications, and personalized recommendations.
Account Management: Features for account creation and deletion.
User Profiles: Users can set their display name and profile picture, which are stored in our database and displayed in the app.
Editing Checklists: Users can edit premade checklists to their own needs and these will be stored locally.
MyChek is not a Law Firm, and we do NOT give Legal advice. Please get in touch with your attorney for legal advice.
Team Collaboration: MyChek Plus users can manage checklists collaboratively as a team.
Authentication: Users can sign in using OAuth methods (Apple or Google) or Email-password method. Email information may be used for marketing purposes.

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services, or, if you are between 13 and 18 years old, you may use our Services only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.

User Account

To access certain features of our website and app, you may need to register and create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

Content Disclaimer

The content provided on our website and in our app, including text, graphics, images, and information obtained from third-party sources, is for informational purposes only and should not be considered legal immigration advice or financial advice. While we strive to keep our content up to date and accurate, we cannot guarantee its validity or completeness.

Intellectual Property

All content on MyChek, including text, checklists, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of MyChek or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You may not distribute, modify, transmit, reuse, download, republish, copy, or use said content whether in whole or in part for commercial purposes without our express written permission.

User Conduct

In using our Services, you agree not to:
- Use the Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law;
- Violate or encourage others to violate the rights of third parties, including intellectual property rights;
- Post, upload, or distribute any content that is unlawful, defamatory, libelous, deceptive, or that infringes on another's privacy, among other restrictions.

Subscription Plans

MyChek Plus: Available on an annual, six-monthly, or monthly basis, MyChek Plus provides access to unlimited checklists and the AI Assistant feature.
Free Users: Free users receive 5 checklist allocations upon registration and an additional 5 allocations for each new user they refer. Free users are limited to accessing 5 checklists at any given time.

User Content

Ownership: All premade checklists are copyrighted and owned by MyChek. You may not share, use, or sell these checklists without our permission.
Custom Checklists: Any checklists you create are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

AI Assistant

The AI Assistant uses Google's Gemini Large Language Model to help create checklists. Dialogs with the AI are not stored and are used only to provide immediate assistance.

Notifications

By using the App, you consent to receive notifications for checklist reminders, marketing communications, and personalized recommendations. You can manage your notification preferences in your device settings.

MyChek is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
